Here at Olivia & Pearl we’re passionate about hunting out the perfect raw materials to make our pieces and hey if we have to travel to some incredible places to do that, that’s okay by us! |

Recently we were in Hong Kong for the international jewellery trade show and made sure to visit the incredible pearl farms to select the right pearls for my designs but it wasn’t all work and no play… First things first… a girl needs to eat and there is nowhere better for brunch than Zuma. Fill your glasses with unlimited champagne or sake and pick some a seriously delicious spread of Asian food whilst planning the rest of your day. |
If shopping’s your thing then you’ve got to head to Temple Street Night Market for everything from fortune tellers to fake CD’s. We absolutely loved 18th Wonder in Cause Way Bay for unique fashion. Don’t get us wrong, we love shopping and sampling a cities cocktail bars – it’s important work! But Hong Kong has some amazing sights to see alongside its amazing nightlife. Head up to The Peak for an incredible view back over the city from its highest point or take a trip to The Big Buddha for some spiritual calm. For incredible cocktails and even better views hit up Wooloomooloo - it’s not ranked as one of the best bars in the world for nothing. We’d recommend dinner afterwards at Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum for fabulous, authentic dim sum with a Michelin star twist. If you fancy something a little more relaxed Chom Chom Vietnamese was some of the best Asian food we’ve ever had – we’re hungry just thinking about it. Finally finish up at Ce La Vi for great cocktails in the most beautiful surroundings. What are your ultimate Hong Kong recommendations? Olivia x |
